A total of 64 individuals, including eleven minors and six women, were rescued east of Lanzarote by Maritime Rescue. The operation took place in international waters.

The state-owned company confirmed the intervention, carried out by the crew of the Salvamar Al Nair. The rescue occurred approximately 87 kilometers off the island's eastern coast.
All occupants of the inflatable vessel are of sub-Saharan origin. They were transported to the port of Arrecife, arriving around 11:45 PM.
During the disembarkation, one of the rescued individuals, a male, required medical attention for a minor ankle injury and was taken to the island's hospital.
