El Santísimo neighborhood in Ingenio celebrates its patron saint festivities

The festival program, organized by the Villa del Viento Neighborhood Association and the City Council, combines tradition, music, and family activities from September 18 to 20.

The El Santísimo neighborhood, in Ingenio, is preparing to celebrate its festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20, with a program organized by the Villa del Viento Neighborhood Association and the City Council.

The program combines tradition, music, family activities, and community gatherings. Previously, on Wednesday, September 16, the El Santísimo square will host the live broadcast of the program ‘Desde Mi Barrio’ from Este Canal TV starting at 8:30 PM, featuring entertainment, interviews, music, and humor.
The festive events will kick off on Friday, September 18, at 9:00 PM with a popular street party featuring Son Karibe. At midnight, the Grupo Acuarela will take over.
Saturday, September 19, will be marked by religious events. At 8:00 PM, a mass will be held in honor of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, during which offerings will be made and later delivered to Cáritas. At 8:45 PM, the procession will take place, accompanied by the Banda Aborigen.
The Saturday night will continue with another popular street party. At 10:00 PM, DJ Pirata will offer a salsa, bachata, and kizomba session. At 11:30 PM, Paco Guedes will perform, and the evening's program will extend with a performance by Pedro Afonso.
The program will conclude on Sunday, September 20, with an afternoon especially designed for families. At 5:00 PM, the Mago Nil will perform, followed at 6:00 PM by inflatables and a balloon-twisting workshop. At 6:15 PM, a raffle and award ceremony will be held, and at 7:00 PM, a hot chocolate with churros, enlivened by Son Karibe.
Both the neighborhood collective and the local administration encourage citizens to join and experience the festivities in honor of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores with participation and joy.
