The incident occurred on Avenida de Las Palmeras, near a gas station in this well-known tourist area of Lanzarote. Despite the dramatic nature of the accident, the occupants of both cars managed to exit their vehicles on their own after the collision.
Medical teams from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), which included a basic life support ambulance and a medicalized one, attended to those affected at the scene of the accident. Fortunately, none of them required transfer to Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital.
The alert, received via CECOES, triggered a significant deployment of resources. Personnel from the Guardia Civil, Local Police, the Emergency Consortium, and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to secure the area and assist those involved.
