Artist Romana G. Brunnauer and curator Luz Gloria López Ramírez present the catalog for the exhibition Nueva Realidad 3.0, a publication that compiles the artist's plastic work and her reflections on emotions and contradictions in a world marked by uncertainty, violence, and pain.
The retrospective exhibition, originally presented in Lanzarote in 2025, gathered Brunnauer's most recent plastic production. Now, the artist and curator Luz Gloria López Ramírez reunite to present this catalog, a publication that addresses contemporary events such as the pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and the genocide in Gaza.
Through three pictorial series, Brunnauer transforms her gaze on reality into images that convey loneliness, uncertainty, fear, rage, and impotence. Her works explore the emotions evoked by a world where violence and suffering challenge the values and human rights that sustain our lives.
The catalog, designed by Carmen Corujo, offers a way to engage with the work of an artist committed to her time and to delve into a project that, through painting, seeks to give form to that which is often difficult to express in words.
