CD Pingüinos from Lanzarote, Spanish Junior Artistic Swimming Champion

The Club Deportivo Pingüinos from Lanzarote has achieved a historic milestone for Canarian sports by becoming the Spanish champion in the junior artistic swimming category, at an event held in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife.

This victory marks the first time the club has won a national title, consolidating a trajectory of growth that has positioned it as one of the most solid and competitive projects in Spanish artistic swimming.
The competition, which took place in Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, gathered 27 clubs from across the country and over 300 athletes. In this demanding scenario, the Lanzarote team not only claimed the title but also demonstrated its ability to compete at the highest level in all program modalities.
CD Pingüinos presented a total of 15 routines, including technical and free solos, female and mixed duets, as well as team and acrobatic routines, highlighting the versatility and athletic maturity of the group. A notable achievement was that all the club's technical routines qualified for the free routine finals, a clear indicator of the high technical level achieved and the team's consistency across all disciplines.
