The Directorate General for Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands launches the third edition of Islas en Rodaje, an audiovisual training and creation program to be held in Lanzarote in 2026.

The initiative aims to boost emerging talent in the audiovisual sector, combining specialized learning with the real production of pieces. Registration is now open via a provided link.
The program offers practical training in disciplines such as screenwriting, directing, acting, and production, taught by industry professionals. Participants will create audiovisual projects that will become part of their professional portfolio.

"With this third edition, we consolidate a project that demonstrates that young talent exists on all the islands and only needs opportunities to develop. From the Government of the Canary Islands, we want to bring specialized training closer to young people, regardless of where they live, and facilitate their path to starting a professional career in a sector with enormous growth potential."

Daniel Morales · Director General for Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands

"Islas en Rodaje represents a commitment to equal opportunities, creativity, and employability for Canary Islands youth. It not only offers technical knowledge but also allows for a real professional experience, teamwork, and networking with people already in the audiovisual industry."

Daniel Morales · Director General for Youth of the Government of the Canary Islands
The choice of Lanzarote as the venue reinforces the commitment to decentralizing cultural offerings and promoting local talent, bringing quality initiatives to non-capital islands and fostering the development of new creative projects linked to the territory.
Islas en Rodaje continues to establish itself as a benchmark initiative, connecting training with professional practice for a new generation of creators in the Canary Islands.
