The tourism company Apartamentos Costa Volcán, part of Lanzarote Holiday, has been identified as a success case by the Red CIDE network, an initiative by the Canary Islands Government's Ministry of Universities, Science, Innovation, and Culture. This specialized support has facilitated the adoption of new tools to improve processes and services, focusing on enhancing communication, direct sales, and the establishment's management efficiency.
The digital transformation at Costa Volcán has involved implementing automation in pre- and post-stay communications, data management and analysis systems, tools for price optimization, and solutions for customer loyalty. Recently, they launched the Guest App by Lanzarote Holiday, which centralizes destination information, services, and content to enrich the user experience.
The primary goal of this digitalization is to simplify tasks, improve the guest experience, and allow teams to dedicate more time to close and personalized attention. The advice from the Red CIDE network has been crucial in reviewing the existing digital strategy and defining new lines of action.
Jana Kaltenborn, Head of Reception at Apartamentos Costa Volcán, highlighted that the consultancy received has enabled them to "organize priorities, identify new opportunities, and continue advancing in the integration of tools and processes".
The Red CIDE network, supported by the Canary Islands Agency for Research, Innovation, and Information Society (ACIISI) and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF Canarias 2021-2027), offers specialized advice to Canarian companies to drive their innovation and competitiveness, analyzing their needs and defining strategies for implementing initiatives.
