The Regulatory Council of the Protected Designation of Origin (DOP) Vinos de Lanzarote has announced the excellent results obtained by the island's wines at the International Awards Virtus 2026. This competition brings together expert tasters, sommeliers, specialized journalists, and viticulture professionals from various countries.
According to information provided by the DOP, the Lágrima de Malvasía Volcánica winery was a major highlight, securing two important distinctions. Its wine, Lágrima de Malvasía Volcánica, received a Grand Gold medal in the white wine category, while Lágrima de Listán Negro earned a Gold medal in the red wine category.
