Sara Carbonero's presence in Lanzarote has once again drawn attention, reinforcing her connection with the Canary Islands. The communicator has shared her affection for the island on social media, selecting it for a relaxing break surrounded by loved ones.
During her recent visit, Carbonero has shown herself to be integrated into the island's daily life. She was seen in the municipality of San Bartolomé enthusiastically cheering during a football match her son was playing in, revealing a more personal and family-oriented side.
The presenter's itinerary included stops at emblematic locations. In La Geria, she enjoyed a wine tasting in this unique wine-growing region, famous for its pits dug into volcanic ash. Later, she strolled along Los Pocillos beach, in Puerto del Carmen (municipality of Tías), a stretch of sand appreciated for its calm, golden waters.
Carbonero's trips to the Canary Islands are not new; the island has become a regular retreat, often shared with her friend and colleague Isabel Jiménez. These visits highlight the appeal of the Canaries for their climate and discretion, serving as digital promotion for the island.
This trip also carried emotional weight, as she returned to the place where she was urgently admitted in January. On that occasion, she was treated at the Doctor José Molina Orosa Hospital in Arrecife for severe abdominal pain, with no complications related to her previous diagnosis of ovarian cancer being found. Her current visit confirms she has overcome that scare and her affection for the island remains strong.
