The north of Lanzarote will resonate with the music of Taburete on June 22nd. The popular Madrid band will give a free concert in the Plaza de Haría, as part of the traditional 2026 San Juan Bautista Festivities program. The event, starting at 9:00 PM, is supported by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and the island's Centers of Art, Culture, and Tourism.
The official presentation of the concert was attended by insular and local authorities, including the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, and the mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba. During the event, the importance of such initiatives for the social and cultural dynamism of the municipalities was highlighted, as well as their contribution to the local economy by attracting visitors.
The San Juan Bautista Festivities are among the most deeply rooted celebrations in Lanzarote, attracting numerous residents and tourists each year. Taburete's performance is set to be one of the main attractions of this year's edition, underscoring the band's significance in the Spanish music scene.
The band, known for blending pop, rock, and singer-songwriter influences, boasts over two million monthly listeners on digital platforms and a substantial social media following, reflecting its widespread popularity.
This concert is part of the Municipal Cooperation Plan promoted by the Cabildo de Lanzarote and benefits from the collaboration of various entities, including the Centers of Art, Culture, and Tourism, the Ayuntamiento de Haría, M.A.Y.A. Producciones, and Voltereta Music.
