The Gáldar City Council has launched an unprecedented road repaving plan, with an investment close to 600,000 euros, set to benefit 25 streets across eleven neighborhoods in the municipality.

The works, which have already commenced in the areas of Becerril and La Montaña, will extend to another 21 roads in the coming months. This comprehensive project aims to significantly improve the local road infrastructure.
The initial intervention in Becerril and La Montaña represents an investment exceeding 80,000 euros, focusing on streets such as Doctor Rodríguez Guerrero, Inspector Juan Rodríguez, the parking areas of Avenida de Los Canteros, and soon, Carmelita la Maestra.
In the coming months, asphalt renovation will begin on an additional 21 streets, covering a total area of 24,492 square meters. This investment effort is part of the municipal strategy for continuous infrastructure improvement.

"We are facing a very important investment effort that allows us to act simultaneously in different parts of the municipality. These are necessary works that improve the safety, mobility, and quality of life of our residents. This is the path we have set: listen, plan, and act to continue transforming Gáldar."
