The program will run from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cultural Center and the Huerto de las Flores, featuring various activities designed to foster interaction between authors and the public.
The official opening is scheduled for 9:00 AM and will be led by the mayor, accompanied by the event's co-organizer, with the collaboration of the Agaete City Council. A prominent feature of the program will be the “express presentations,” a format allowing 21 literary works to be introduced through brief interventions.
The fair will also include a literary recital at the Huerto de las Flores, where poems, micro-stories, and excerpts from various publications will be read. In the same venue, the premiere of El oleaje y la tinta, presented as the official anthem of the gathering, is planned. The co-organizer explained that this rock composition aims to link “the word” with a message of freedom in the municipality.
The musical lineup will feature the Guiense soloist Beatriz Díaz, artistically known as Betty Brown, who will perform a selection from her show Divas del Soul. The closing act will be Isaac Villafranca, vocalist of the group Paradise, accompanied on this occasion by Nivaria Ramírez.
