Application Period Opens for Canary Islands Youth Rental Bonus

The Government of the Canary Islands has opened the application period for the Youth Rental Bonus, aid aimed at young people aged 18 to 35, which can reach 250 euros per month.

The Departments of Housing and Social Services of the Gáldar City Council report that the Government of the Canary Islands has opened the period for submitting applications for the new Youth Rental Bonus call. The call will be available from this September 18 to October 18.
This aid is aimed at young people, aged 18 to 35 inclusive at the time of applying for the aid. The amount can reach up to 250 euros, paid semi-annually upon justification of rent payment.

General requirements to access this aid include having a lease agreement or being in a position to obtain one. Additionally, applicants must have at least one regular source of income that provides annual earnings equal to or less than three times the Public Indicator of Income for Multiple Effects (IPREM). Proof of at least three months of employment history within the six months prior to the application is required.
Other requirements include being registered in the municipality where the rental property is located and the rent being equal to or less than 900 euros.
