The Recinto Cultural de La Quinta in Gáldar hosted over 3,000 people for Camela's concert, concluding the Fiestas Mayores de Santiago.

The Recinto Cultural de La Quinta in Gáldar was packed to capacity to welcome the duo Camela, marking the final event of the Fiestas Mayores de Santiago. This year's edition was notable for its high participation, with over 3,000 attendees enthusiastically singing along with the duo, considered a landmark in Spanish music.
Julio Mateo Castillo, first deputy mayor and councilor for Culture and Festivities of the Gáldar City Council, highlighted the joy and participation from both residents and visitors. He pointed out that the tradition passed down through generations and word-of-mouth have made Gáldar a reference point for festivities.
The festival program also included other musical events such as the return of El Vega Life, a concert by artist Merche, and the new Gáldar Urban Fest, created to meet the demand of younger audiences. The proximity of the Holy Year of St. James 2027 was also a theme present in this edition.
Camela's concert, part of their «+ de 30» tour, had previously sold out tickets for other dates. The duo repeated the success of their 2019 performance in Gáldar, drawing thousands of fans who sang along to hits like «Sueños Inalcanzables» and «Nunca debí enamorarme».
The night concluded with songs such as «Nunca te he olvidado» and «Tu mirada», and the chorus «sueño contigo, que me has dado». The final encore was «Cuando zarpa el amor», reinforcing the duo's connection with the Gáldar audience.
Julio Mateo Castillo expressed his gratitude for the response to this year's festivities and conveyed confidence that the next edition, coinciding with the Holy Year of St. James 2027, will bring even more satisfaction.
Sunday's activities also included numerous events for children, such as the Children's Play Park with inflatable castles and craft workshops, and the children's show «Karkocha». The Grand Finale in the main square featured a performance by the group Hierba Buena and a traditional popular lunch.
