The Facaracas Musical Group headlined the XXI Noche de Folías, held in Gáldar's Plaza de Santiago as part of the 544th Fiestas Mayores de Santiago. The event drew hundreds of attendees who enjoyed a traditional Canarian music performance lasting nearly two hours.
Facaracas' main performance featured guest soloists Sara Bermúdez and Izan Ortega, whose vocals were met with great applause. The evening was hosted and presented by José María Dávila, guiding the audience through a repertoire marked by interpretive quality and audience warmth.
The repertoire included emblematic pieces from the popular songbook of the Canary Islands, such as Agáldar, Folías Antiguas, Mazurca de Gáldar en La Habana, Folías al Viento, Isa del Señor Resudino, Seguidillas de Lanzarote, Montañas Sagradas, Folías de La Graciosa, Folías Majoreras, En Venezuela, Malagueñas de Lanzarote, La Esperanza Canta, Te Busco, Folías, Seguidillas y Saltonas, and Cuando nos Volvamos a Encontrar. The show was enhanced by audiovisual projections.
The XXI Noche de Folías marked the conclusion of a week dedicated to folklore within Gáldar's patron saint festivities. This week also included the Cantares a Gáldar Festival by Farallón de Tábata, the X Children's Folklore Festival Gáldar Uniendo Orillas by Harimaguadas, and the Fiestas de Santiago Festival by Surco y Arado, reinforcing Gáldar's status as a key center for Canarian music and popular traditions.
