Emblematic Argentine singer Coti will headline this Friday, August 14th, the eve of the Patron Saint Festivities of La Virgen in Guía, with a free concert in the Plaza Grande starting at 10:00 PM.

Argentine singer-songwriter Coti, known for hits like 'Antes que ver el sol' and 'Nada fue un error', will perform in Guía's Plaza Grande this Friday, August 14th. The concert, kicking off at 10:00 PM, is part of the festivities leading up to the 2026 Patron Saint Festivities of La Virgen.
Coti's repertoire will feature intergenerational anthems and globally recognized compositions, such as 'Color Esperanza'. The musician, a recipient of multiple Gold and Platinum records and Latin Grammy awards, will deliver a live performance blending the warmth of his intense lyrics with the infectious energy of his full band.
Following the concert, a spectacular Video Mapping show will be displayed at midnight on the facade of the Church of Santa María de Guía, replacing the fireworks. The festive night will continue with a large open-air party featuring orchestras Star Music and Furia Joven, DJ Airam Vega, and DJ´s Promaster in the beach bar area.
Anticipating a large public turnout, the transport company Global will reinforce bus services between the capital of Gran Canaria and Guía. Additional services will be added to Line 100 on Friday night and Line 105 during the early hours of Friday to Saturday, for both inbound and return journeys to San Telmo.
