The municipality of Gáldar vibrated this Sunday with its Day Pride event, a celebration that filled the La Quinta Cultural Venue with music and fun under the sun.

The festive day featured three prominent musical groups from the islands: Kilombo Improvisado, Nueva Línea, and Armonía Show, offering a variety of styles for all audiences.
Kilombo Improvisado kicked off the party with their characteristic fresh sound and lyrics of Canarian identity, performing covers adapted to rhythms like cumbia, reggaeton, merengue, and bachata. Songs such as Soy canaria and Te encontré quickly connected with the audience.
After the performance by DJ Ulises Acosta, the group Nueva Línea took the stage. Known for their viral success, the members offered a repertoire blending Latin pop and salsa, receiving a warm welcome from attendees who sang along to hits like Noche de copas and Un beso.
As the sun began to set, Armonía Show closed the event with a repertoire designed to keep the audience's energy high. The orchestra performed both their own songs, such as Me miras y te miro and Mi gran noche, as well as popular classics like Sopa de Caracol and Cachete, pechito, ombligo, providing a grand finale to the celebration.
The Gáldar Pride 2026, organized by the Culture and Festivities Department of the Gáldar City Council with the sponsorship of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, proved to be a successful event combining advocacy and celebration.
