The Department of Addiction Prevention of the Gáldar City Council, led by councilor Ana Teresa Mendoza Jiménez, has organized the Sexuality Prevention Workshops. This initiative is specifically aimed at the educational community to create a space for training, reflection, and dialogue on affective-sexual education and prevention in schools.
The workshops will take place on October 1st, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, at the Guaires Cultural Center. They are primarily intended for teachers and professionals involved in the educational field.
The event will feature sexologist Moisés Oliva, who will address key aspects of affective-sexual education and the importance of prevention within the educational environment. Tools and resources will be provided to adequately support students according to their needs.
The Department of Addiction Prevention emphasizes the importance of promoting training spaces that address sexuality from an educational, responsible, and preventive perspective, fostering education based on respect, knowledge, and the well-being of children and adolescents.
