Gáldar Pride 2026: Bus Services Enhanced to Facilitate Access to Events

Global adds 66 special connections between Gáldar, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Sardina del Norte throughout the event weekend.

The Gáldar City Council and the company Global have increased bus connections for Gáldar Pride 2026, adding 66 special services between Gáldar, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and Sardina del Norte.

Gáldar Pride 2026, taking place this weekend, will feature a significant boost in public transport to facilitate attendance at its most popular events. This initiative, a collaboration between the Gáldar City Council and the company Global, aims to promote visibility, respect, and freedom for the LGTBIQ+ community.
For the Gala Queen of Queens and the show ‘Furor, furor. The Show’ on Friday, June 19th, at the Recinto Cultural La Quinta, Line 105 will offer special connections from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Additional departures from the capital are scheduled for 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM, along with services at 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM. For the return journey, multiple departures from Gáldar are planned until 5:15 AM.
On Saturday, June 20th, the day of the Gran Cabalgata (Grand Parade) and the Gran Mogollón featuring DJ Inés Hernand, Manny Manuel, and Aseres, Line 105 will also be reinforced. There will be extra departures from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in the afternoon and early morning, as well as increased return services from Gáldar.
Additionally, Line 401, connecting Gáldar with Sardina del Norte, will have special services on Saturday, June 20th, for both journeys towards Gáldar town center and the return to Sardina del Norte, with extended night hours.
The Gáldar Pride 2026 program includes free events such as the Carrera de Tacones (Heels Race) on Saturday at 12:00 PM in the Plaza de Santiago, the Pride de Día (Day Pride) on Sunday at 2:30 PM at the Recinto Cultural La Quinta, and the Premios Arkoiris (Rainbow Awards) gala on Sunday at 8:00 PM at the Centro Cultural Guaires. The Plaza de Santiago also hosts a photographic exhibition.
