The Gáldar City Council will implement traffic and parking restrictions this Saturday for the Grand Parade of Gáldar Pride 2026, which will also affect bus schedules and routes.

The event organizers have planned a traffic reorganization around Paseo de los Guanartemes and Bajada de las Guayarminas. Measures include parking prohibitions on several key streets to facilitate the setup of floats. Specifically, parking will be banned on the internal lane of Paseo de los Guanartemes from 8:00 AM, and on Bajada de las Guayarminas, Maninidra, and Guillén Morales from 10:00 AM. Additionally, Nicolás Ramírez Auyanet street will have parking prohibited starting at 12:00 PM.
Traffic closures will commence on Friday, June 19th, on Maninidra, Guillén Morales, and Guaires streets from 5:00 PM. On Saturday, Paseo de los Guanartemes will be closed to traffic from 12:00 PM, followed by Bajada de las Guayarminas at 5:00 PM and the Puente de los Tres Ojos at 7:00 PM. All these routes are expected to reopen around midnight.
The celebration will also impact bus services. Between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM, a closure between the Rotonda de Becerril and the Bus Station will affect lines 100, 103, 105, 107, and 401, suspending stops such as Becerril Norte, Becerril Sur, and Rojas.
Subsequently, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the section between the Rotonda de Becerril and the Puente de los Tres Ojos will be closed in both directions, affecting stops like Becerril Norte, Rojas, Estación de Guaguas, and Huerto Nuevo. Finally, between 9:00 PM and midnight, closures between the Puente de los Tres Ojos and the Estación de Guaguas will divert lines 103 and 401, canceling stops such as Guayarmina and Policía Local.
To mitigate the disruptions, Guaguas Global has implemented provisional stops and will reinforce several lines, including additional connections between Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and Gáldar, as well as on line 401 connecting Gáldar with Sardina del Norte.
