The Gáldar City Council has launched a series of educational and work-life balance initiatives at the former IES Saulo Torón facilities for this summer period.

The municipal offer includes three main proposals designed to meet the needs of minors and their families during the holidays. The Summer Campus, titled Arte y Crecimiento (Art and Growth), focuses on fostering creativity and personal development through artistic activities, including inclusive camps with specialized support for children with educational needs.
On the other hand, the Bebeteca has established itself as a meeting and support point for families with babies aged 0 to 3. Likewise, the Cinema Gáldar project seeks to bring audiovisual language closer to young people through practical workshops that promote critical thinking and teamwork.
These actions are part of the Plan Corresponsables, funded by FECAM. The program is complemented by the Barrios Vivos initiative, which extends the range of recreational and educational activities to different parts of the municipality during the weekends.
