The historic center of Gáldar has been transformed into a vibrant open-air garden with the sixth edition of 'Gáldar en Flor', an initiative combining thousands of flowers, art, and live music to offer a unique experience to residents and visitors until May 24.

What at first glance appears to be a simple floral display is, in reality, a complete sensory experience. The route through Capitán Quesada Street and the surroundings of Plaza de Santiago invites visitors to immerse themselves in an atmosphere where colors, sounds, and unexpected details merge.
The event's inauguration was attended by local authorities, who highlighted the consolidation of this spring event. A city council spokesperson emphasized that the objective is “to continue surprising residents and visitors, filling the streets and terraces and improving each edition.”

"This edition once again demonstrates the joint work of the entire team and collaborators, betting on new designs and setups that turn the historic center into a living, attractive, and constantly evolving space."

The visual experience is complemented by live music. A violinist with an electric violin surprises attendees by performing well-known songs, such as Coldplay tracks, creating an immersive atmosphere that accompanies the stroll. This contrast between classic and modern reflects the spirit of the event, which seeks to merge tradition and creativity.
Furthermore, emotional details have been incorporated, such as the delivery of flowers with congratulatory messages for mothers, adding a personal touch to the tour. Among the most striking elements are decorative figures covered with floral fabrics, such as patterned cows, which break with the traditional concept of a botanical exhibition.
The exhibition showcases thousands of floral species, including geraniums, daisies, sunflowers, hydrangeas, and gerberas, integrated into compositions that combine nature and scenography. The result is an itinerary that each visitor can enjoy differently, whether for a photo session, a leisurely stroll, or simply to let themselves be carried away by the beauty of the surroundings.
