The Guía City Council has opened the public restrooms at El Bardo Urban Park, responding to resident demand and thanks to the selfless collaboration of a regular user.
The Guía City Council, through the Department of Parks and Gardens, has made the public restrooms at El Bardo Urban Park operational. This initiative addresses the request from numerous residents who use this space daily for sports, walking, or enjoying one of the municipality's main green areas.
The opening of these facilities aims to enhance the comfort and quality of stay for park users. The viability of this service has been largely made possible by the disinterested offer from a regular park user, who will voluntarily assist with closing the restrooms within the established hours.
To ensure proper functioning and maintenance, a closing schedule has been set to balance usage with conservation and prevent vandalism. The Department of Parks and Gardens calls for civility and cooperation from all users to care for these facilities.

"A necessary service is made available to citizens in an urban park of this nature, which will contribute to improving the comfort and quality of stay for those who use it daily."
“
"The only way to verify if this service is viable is by putting it into operation. We have full confidence in the civility and responsibility of users so that these facilities remain in good condition and can continue to serve for many years."
Juan Jiménez specifically thanked the collaborating user for their involvement and generosity, highlighting that their gesture demonstrates that collaboration between citizens and the City Council is key for beneficial initiatives. He emphasized confidence in collective responsibility to ensure the service's longevity.
