Saturday, September 12, was marked by color and a festive atmosphere, with a program that combined seafaring tradition with musical performances. The Department of Culture and Festivals of the Gáldar City Council, in collaboration with the AAVV San Pedro González Telmo, promoted this event that attracted numerous residents and visitors.
The traditional Vará del Pescao kicked off at 12:00 PM, accompanied by a parade from the Agaete Band. In the afternoon, DJ Yeray entertained attendees before the live performances by Playacoco, Cielo Zurith, Los Lola, and Sombras del Caribe, which lasted until midnight.
The Sardina Viva Festival continued on Sunday, September 13, with a family-oriented program. From 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, children enjoyed water inflatables, workshops, and a foam party. Music was also a highlight with performances by DJ Yeray, Son del Caney, and Golpe Bajo.
