The Guía City Council, in collaboration with the Tagoror Ajei Educational and Social Association, has launched the workshop ‘Train your memory and concentration’, an initiative aimed at the municipality's seniors.

The main objective of this activity is to promote active aging, emotional well-being, and the maintenance of cognitive abilities among participants. The workshop will offer a space for meeting, participation, and learning through adapted dynamics to keep the mind active.
During the sessions, which will take place on September 15, 22, and 29 at the Guía House of Culture, various abilities will be worked on, including memory, attention, concentration, reasoning, problem-solving, reading, and comprehension. Furthermore, communication, participation, and social relationships will be fostered.

"We continue to organize and offer activities within the commitment we made where we want our seniors to be protagonists in our municipality."

Alejandro Rivero · Councilor for the Elderly
From Tagoror Ajei, the importance of creating spaces for seniors is highlighted, which not only stimulate their cognitive abilities but also allow them to learn, socialize, and enjoy themselves, thereby improving their quality of life.
Places are limited and prior registration is required via WhatsApp at 614 755 325. This activity is part of the ‘Contigo’ project by AES Tagoror Ajei, subsidized by the Government of the Canary Islands.
