The project has a 23-month execution period and is co-financed by the European Union through the FEDER program. This facility aims to address the population growth in the La Oliva Health Zone, which currently serves over 27,000 registered patients.
The new building will cover 3,500 square meters on a single floor to ensure full accessibility. It will house specialized areas for adult care, pediatrics, emergency services, physiotherapy, oral health, and radiology, alongside administrative offices.
The existing healthcare network, comprising the Corralejo center and local clinics in La Oliva, Lajares, and El Cotillo, had reached its operational limit following previous expansions.
