The capital of Fuerteventura will host the new edition of the A CONTRACULTURA festival from June 9th to 12th, a multidisciplinary event combining critical reflection and artistic creation with free access.

The Puerto del Rosario City Council has unveiled the program for this cultural gathering, which has become a staple in the Fuerteventura calendar. The festival aims to foster critical thinking through a dialogue between various disciplines, ranging from literature and journalism to performing arts and live music.
The Casa de la Cultura and the Plaza de la Paz will serve as the main venues for the event. Highlights include the book presentation of El verano de los inocentes, an exhibition on the countercultural phenomenon, and various theatrical performances exploring the boundaries of contemporary language.

"A CONTRACULTURA reflects our firm commitment to accessible, bold, and high-quality culture. It is not just about enriching the leisure agenda, but about offering our citizens and visitors a space for dialogue and critical thinking."
