The Puerto del Rosario City Council has initiated the tender process for the drafting of the basic and execution project for the future Comprehensive Security, Training, and Police Coordination and Emergencies Complex.

This initiative aims to define the future municipal facilities for emergency coordination and to house the new premises for the Local Police in the capital of Fuerteventura. The official tender sets August 26th as the deadline for proposal submission.
The project, with a base budget of 50,000 euros, allows for seven and a half months for its drafting. It is conceived from an integral perspective, covering technical, urban planning, functional, economic, and construction aspects. It must include all necessary studies, reports, plans, and budgets to guide the subsequent contracting and execution of the works.

"By tendering the project's drafting, we take a decisive step towards making a reality facilities that we consider fundamental for Puerto del Rosario. We want to have a modern, functional space prepared to improve the coordination of municipal resources and offer a more effective response to any emergency."

David de Vera · Mayor of Puerto del Rosario
According to municipal sources, the criterion with the highest weighting (51%) will be the proposal for a study of implementation alternatives and architectural and functional solutions. The remaining 49% will correspond to the economic offer. The council's intention is to tender the execution of the works starting in 2027.
