The Pájara City Council has implemented the SEABOB Rescue at La Pared beach, an advanced electric device designed to optimize aquatic rescue operations and reduce response time to incidents.

This new specialized equipment aims to enhance the capabilities of lifeguarding teams, facilitating rapid movement to individuals requiring assistance. The primary goal is to significantly decrease intervention time in aquatic emergencies.
The Councilor for Beaches, Raimundo Acosta, highlighted the device's versatility, emphasizing its ability to operate submerged up to forty meters deep. It also enables the swift and safe transport of individuals in risk situations, even if unconscious.
For his part, the mayor of Pájara, Alejandro Jorge, underscored the SEABOB's effectiveness in various marine conditions, from calm waters to coastal areas with waves. He mentioned that its propulsion system is fully electric and ecological.
The device reaches a maximum speed of 20 kilometers per hour on the surface and offers an approximate autonomy of 60 minutes. It incorporates different power levels to adapt to the demands of each intervention, ensuring high performance.
Additionally, the SEABOB Rescue features anchoring points for attaching rescue accessories, such as specific harnesses, thereby expanding its operational capabilities during emergencies.
According to the council, this initiative reinforces the Pájara City Council's commitment to public safety along its coastlines, ensuring the well-being and protection of beachgoers.
