The Government of the Canary Islands has approved a 1.8 million euro project to construct a bike lane and acoustic screens between La Capellanía and Corralejo, in the municipality of La Oliva.

The Ministry of Public Works, Housing and Mobility, through the General Directorate of Road Infrastructure, has definitively approved the project for complementary works on the FV-1 road. This section, connecting La Capellanía and Corralejo, will receive a total investment of 1,847,268 euros, including IGIC (Canarian General Indirect Tax).
The plan includes the installation of acoustic screens in urban areas close to the road, as well as the creation of an adjacent bike lane. These improvements aim to promote safer and more diverse mobility for residents and visitors in the area.

"This is, without a doubt, an important step that brings us closer, every time, to the materialization of this improvement thanks to the work between administrations."

the mayor of La Oliva
