The municipality of Vallehermoso joins the island's Book Day program with a cultural proposal centered on the “Verso y Reverso” event, highlighting literary creation linked to the territory and its connection with local products.

The day will begin at 6:00 PM in the Plenary Hall of the Vallehermoso Town Hall with the presentation of a book by a tenured professor from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Afterwards, at 7:30 PM, the Plaza de la Constitución will host the “Verso y Reverso” gathering.
This event will combine the exhibition of Gomera poets, including prominent figures from Vallehermoso such as Pedro García Cabrera, Bohemia Pulido, Juan Morales, Tanagua Hernández, and Luis Amaya, along with illustrations by a Gomera illustrator.
The program will also include the activity “Symphony of verses and wines: tradition and creation,” led by a multifaceted musician and composer together with a collaborator, in collaboration with the DOP Vinos La Gomera Regulatory Council. This format will unite poetry and wine tasting from the island.
The event will also feature the collaboration of the Asociación Cultural en Décimas, which will participate in the development of the act, incorporating oral tradition into the day. This initiative is part of the program promoted by the Cabildo de La Gomera in collaboration with the Vallehermoso Town Hall, strengthening the municipality's role as a cultural revitalization space on the island.
