The Haría City Council has initiated the process to select a management entity to organize its summer school, a service intended for 100 schoolchildren with a budget of 60,000 euros to facilitate family reconciliation during the months of July and August.
The northern municipality has opened the bidding period for offers until June 8, aiming to sign the contract a few days later. According to municipal sources, measures for registrations will be detailed in June, following a model similar to previous years.
Activities will take place at the San Juan school in Haría and the La Garita school in Arrieta. The established schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM.
Groups of monitors and schoolchildren will be formed, respecting specific ratios based on age and needs. For primary education, the maximum ratio will be 22 children per monitor; for 2-3 year olds in early childhood education, 16; for 1-2 year olds, 10; and for 0-1 year olds, 8. Children with special needs will have a maximum ratio of 5 children per monitor, which may be reduced depending on their degree of autonomy.
