The initiative aims to end the precarious conditions under which training centers currently operate on a plot located in front of the local water park. The project is supported by the Provincial Traffic Headquarters and will allow for the reorganization of this municipal land.
The plan includes the imminent tendering of the improvement works. Once completed, the facility will address a long-standing need in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, as there have been no specific facilities for conducting aptitude tests for all vehicle categories until now.
“"Although the land is municipally owned, its utility is clearly island-wide, as it will benefit residents of all seven municipalities and improve training and access to driving licenses."
To ensure the facility's functionality, the Teguise City Council will sign a collaboration agreement with the General Directorate of Traffic. This agreement will authorize the temporary use of the land for official exams, providing greater guarantees for applicants and increasing the quality of road safety training on the island.
