The upgrade of this infrastructure, one of Teguise City Council's main demands, addresses the road's deterioration and high traffic volume. The action aims to enhance mobility and road safety for residents, workers, and visitors.
Olivia Duque emphasized the importance of this demand, stating, "This is a fundamental road for the daily lives of thousands of people, and it is crucial to move towards a solution that improves their circulation and safety conditions."
The mayor also highlighted the collaboration between the two institutions, affirming, "We have a committed Cabildo President who understands the needs of Teguise and La Graciosa. Joint work and coordination between administrations are essential to respond to our residents' demands and continue advancing the improvements the municipality requires."
The planned intervention on the LZ-18 road, connecting Arrecife with Costa Teguise, is a priority for the municipality in terms of road infrastructure.
