The project, promoted by the Insular Institute for the Integrated Management of World Heritage and Biosphere Reserve, aims to modernize this strategic site, known for its panoramic views of the Tejeda caldera.
The planned works include facade repairs, carpentry replacement, and a complete renovation of plumbing, electrical, ventilation, and fire protection systems. Additionally, the access tunnel and the terrace-viewpoint will be upgraded to ensure functional compliance.
The project, with an estimated execution period of 12 months, seeks to reopen the space following years of legal proceedings to recover ownership of the facilities. Once the work is completed, the Council plans to manage part of the site as an independent viewpoint, while the restaurant area will be subject to a new concession.
