In the extraordinary plenary session held this Wednesday, October 21st, these two fundamental tools for organizing municipal human resources were approved, carrying favorable reports from the Human Resources, Treasury, and Secretariat departments.
Mayor Angélica Padilla highlighted the importance of an updated RPT for planning personnel needs and the economic allocation of positions, aiming to initiate selection processes and adapt the workforce to the municipality's requirements.
Regarding the collective agreement, Padilla emphasized the inclusion of a new salary scale that aligns remuneration with job positions. This update will address discrepancies affecting lower salaries, which previously required a Transitional Personal Complement to reach the Minimum Interprofessional Wage.
The most significant salary increase will be reflected in the paychecks of those earning the lowest wages, aligning their economic conditions with the new agreement framework. The approval of both documents follows work in the General Negotiation Table with representatives from CCOO and UGT.
