The municipality of El Carrizal expands its gastronomic offer with the inauguration of Dulce Mari Coffee & Bakery, a new establishment that combines the essence of its artisanal creations with a broader and more versatile proposal. Entrepreneur María Isabel Romero Acosta opened the doors of her premises on July 1st at Calle Camilo José Cela, number 2, next to the Carrizal Civic Center.
This new concept, evolving from a workshop for American and traditional pastries, incorporates freshly prepared protein shakes, teas, cold coffees, matcha, fruit bowls, and brunch-style breakfasts. On Fridays, the venue will also offer a special tapas service accompanied by artisanal and international beers. The opening hours will be Monday to Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and Fridays, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
María Isabel Romero expressed her excitement for this new entrepreneurial challenge, the result of years of work and dedication. "It represents a lot of excitement, many years behind me that endorse me, thanks to my clientele, my dearest people, and above all, it represents new dreams and new challenges," she stated. The intention is to offer a proposal capable of reaching all types of the public, emphasizing that the establishment's philosophy is to combine the products that have already won over its clientele with new, healthier alternatives. "We are going to offer a healthier alternative. Apart from the 'getting fat,' as I always tell them, we will have an alternative for all audiences in general: children, adults, athletes… we will have a little bit of everything."
The inaugural event was attended by the Councilor for Commerce of the Ingenio City Council, Almudena Hernández, who wished to accompany the entrepreneur in this new beginning and convey institutional support. The municipal official highlighted the consolidation of the business project and the importance of continuing to strengthen the commercial fabric of the municipality. "Once again, the municipality of Ingenio is celebrating. As of today, thanks to Mari, an already consolidated entrepreneur in our municipality, we have a new venue in El Carrizal with a very varied offering and, as she rightly says, the 'getting fat' that she has accustomed us to. From the Department of Commerce and the Ingenio City Council, we wish her the greatest of luck and are confident that she will continue to achieve the same success as before," stated the councilor.
