The fair, which held its first edition in the municipality in the southeast of Gran Canaria, surpassed the attendance figures of the previous five editions, reaffirming its position as a key commercial event for families and for small and medium-sized businesses on the island.
Nearly 70 local businesses participated in Fisaldo, using the event as a showcase to clear out-of-season products and offer attractive discounts and special offers. The Minister of Economic Development, Industry, Trade, and Crafts, Minerva Alonso, highlighted the public's support and the benefits for businesses, which not only cleared stock but also increased sales and visibility.
The high turnout confirms the appeal of the event, which combines shopping opportunities for island families with the revitalization of Gran Canaria's small and medium-sized commerce. For five days, a wide variety of items were offered, including fashion, footwear, jewelry, technology, decoration, and motor-related products, among many others.
In addition to shopping, attendees enjoyed musical performances by Los Salvapantallas, Stefan Navarro, and Fijo Discontinuo, as well as a food truck area for refreshments.
The raffles for 30 gift vouchers of 100 euros each, redeemable at participating establishments (excluding food and motor products), were another major attraction of the fair.
