The meeting, organized by the Department of Citizen Participation and Solidarity, included various organizations interested in collaborating. The gathering took place at the facilities of the collective Marikas Rurales in Lomo Juan, which were provided for the occasion.
Key organizational aspects were defined, including the relocation of the event to the El Burrero Civic Center. This move aims to improve activity distribution and enhance comfort for participants and entities. Additionally, the children's program will be strengthened with more recreational and awareness activities.
The event will span two days. On Saturday, August 29th, a Solidarity Walk will be held for all citizens, promoting healthy habits and solidarity. On Sunday, August 30th, the main event will showcase the work of participating NGOs and associations, encouraging citizen participation and cooperation.
Councilwoman Saro Viera Hernández highlighted the strong involvement and collaborative spirit among the entities. Her department continues to work on final details, inviting the public to join the scheduled activities.
