The renovation works on the original enclosure of the Los Corralillos sports court have been completed, equipping the facility with a new perimeter fence. This improvement aims to increase the safety of those using the sports area by raising the fence height to prevent balls from leaving the premises. Furthermore, the use of higher quality materials and a design focused on ease of replacement for future damage will extend the infrastructure's lifespan.
The previous fence showed significant deterioration, with fallen or damaged sections and insufficient height, which allowed balls to escape and posed risks. The new structure stands approximately eight meters high and has been designed for simplified future maintenance.
In the coming days, complementary work will be carried out, including the installation of a new access gate and minor protective touches on welds and metal elements. These additional tasks will strengthen the fence's resistance to corrosion, ensuring greater durability.
This project, which addresses a request from local residents, is part of a broader municipal plan to improve sports infrastructure across the municipality's various neighborhoods.
