The municipality of Santa Lucía de Tirajana kicks off the Siente el Movimiento sports fair this Friday, transforming Avenida de Canarias and Plaza de Los Algodoneros into a hub for health and inclusion.

The initiative, running over two days, is held under the slogan Muévete con orgullo, with a special focus on the visibility of the LGTBIQ+ community within the sports sector. The program features the participation of a prominent figure in Spanish women's sports, recognized for her career as a trans athlete in the top category.
The event will offer a wide range of activities, from masterclasses and technical talks to sports exhibitions aimed at various age groups, including students and seniors. Additionally, the I Carrera Benéfica Guardia Civil Las Palmas will take place on Saturday at 5:00 PM, a race with two categories designed to encourage public participation.
This fair has established itself as a collaborative space for entities, local clubs, and companies in the sector. The main goal is to remove barriers to physical activity, promote fair play values, and highlight the ongoing efforts of grassroots sports organizations in Santa Lucía de Tirajana.
