Following the success of its inaugural edition, 'Los Juegos del Verano' returns to Mogán with an expanded proposal. The main event will take place in Arguineguín on July 17 and 18, increasing the number of teams to 24 and adding six entirely new challenges, alongside modifications to existing ones.
A notable new addition is 'Los Juegos del Verano Kids', a version adapted for children and young people, scheduled for July 25 at the municipal football field in Playa de Mogán. This family-friendly event will allow up to 20 teams with members of various ages to participate.
“"When the organization offered us the project, we saw that it was something completely different, very fun, very participatory, and, ultimately, a distinct proposal from what we are used to."
The presentation of this edition took place at the Arguineguín Multipurpose Center, where the event's exclusivity in the archipelago was highlighted. A spokesperson for the organization emphasized the inclusive and participatory nature of the games, which aim to reward fun over competition.
Among the new challenges are 'El unicornio galopante' (The Galloping Unicorn), 'El suelo es lava' (The Floor is Lava), 'El mercadillo' (The Market), 'La torre de colores' (The Color Tower), and 'La Catapulta de sopladeras' (The Blower Catapult), all designed to be held in emblematic locations of the seaside town. In addition to trophies for the top three finishers, awards will be given for categories such as the most active team on social media or the most enthusiastic.
The registration period for 'Los Juegos del Verano' teams will be open from May 6 to 17, while for 'Los Juegos del Verano Kids' it will be from May 25 to June 7. Interested parties can register and find all information on the website www.evensur.es.
