Temperatures will see a slight increase in midlands and high areas of the mountainous islands, with little change elsewhere. Maximums of 34 °C are expected in peaks and midlands facing east, south, and west of Gran Canaria, and 32 °C in the southern interior of Fuerteventura and the southern midlands of Tenerife.
The wind will be moderate from the northeast, with strong gusts in the southeast and northwest extremities of the main islands, where gusts could be very strong. Friday is expected to have similar weather to Thursday, with temperatures not exceeding 34 °C, but potentially hovering around 30-32 °C in the southern interior of Fuerteventura and the southern midlands of Tenerife.
Island by island, Lanzarote will experience cloudy intervals in the north and mostly clear skies elsewhere, with maximum temperatures possibly reaching 30 °C in the southeast. In Fuerteventura, there will be cloudy intervals on the east and west coasts, with highs of 32 °C in the southern interior and southeast coasts. Gran Canaria will have cloudy skies in the north below 900 meters, with temperatures of 30-32 °C in the western, southern, and eastern midlands. Tenerife will have cloudiness in the north below 1200 meters, with maximums of 30 °C in the southern midlands and low-lying areas of the metropolitan area. La Gomera and La Palma will also have cloudiness in the north and east, with temperatures unchanged or slightly rising. El Hierro will have cloudy intervals in the north, with stable temperatures.
