The police operation focused on a property in Maspalomas that, according to the investigation, served as a direct retail point for narcotics. The National Police reported that numerous consumers visited the residence to acquire substances, and that the main suspect made direct deliveries to specific buyers.
The Local Brigade of Judicial Police from the Maspalomas Police Station initiated the investigation after receiving information about illicit activity. Over several weeks, officers established surveillance operations that led to the identification of those involved, the detection of transactions, and confirmation of drug sales from the home.
During the search of the main suspect's residence, approximately 124 grams of cocaine, 55 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of ketamine, 28 grams of mephedrone, 31.5 grams of 2CB, and 1.5 grams of marijuana were seized. Additionally, 4,030 euros in cash, precision scales, and drug preparation tools were found.
Following police procedures, the three detainees were brought before the competent judicial authority. The judge ordered the provisional imprisonment of the main suspect. This action is part of the police response against drug dealing points in residential and tourist areas of southern Gran Canaria.
