During the fumigation period, residents and visitors are advised to keep doors and windows closed to maximize the intervention's effectiveness and minimize potential discomfort. The Councillor for the Environment, Rayco Guerra, highlighted the efficiency of this joint action in maintaining areas with fewer insects and rodents for longer, expressing gratitude for the collaboration of the hotel sector.

The councillor also conveyed a message of reassurance regarding the potential temporary appearance of insects post-fumigation, stating that the Street Cleaning Service will be operational to act if necessary.
