The municipality of Mogán has unveiled the official schedule for the upcoming Carmen Festivities, which will take place in Arguineguín and Playa de Mogán from July 6 to August 2.

The festive calendar combines devotion and maritime tradition, highlighting the pilgrimage-offering, land processions, and sea voyages. This year, the celebration takes on a special significance with the official proclamation of the Virgin of Carmen as the perpetual mayor of the municipality, an act that will take place during the mass on July 16 at the Church of Our Lady of Carmen.
The Arguineguín pilgrimage-offering, scheduled for July 11, will feature an extended route starting from José Manuel Santana street to Pérez Galdós square. The procession, consisting of 23 carts, will conclude with the traditional Baile de Taifas.
The maritime processions, one of the most anticipated moments, will take place on July 19 in Arguineguín and August 2 in Playa de Mogán. In both cases, the images will travel along the coast accompanied by decorated boats, symbolizing the meeting between the maritime communities of both towns.
