The Mogán City Council has initiated improvement works in the historic center, including paving several streets, widening sidewalks, and installing new public lighting.

The municipality of Mogán is carrying out a significant renovation of its historic center. The works, which include paving streets such as El Drago, La Galletana, Rincón de Mima, San Antonio de Padúa, and the Avenida de la Constitución, have an investment of 552,714.92 euros. Funding comes partly from the Cooperation Plan with Municipalities of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, which contributes 446,629.48 euros, supplemented by a municipal contribution of 106,085.44 euros.
On the Avenida de la Constitución, the main street of the town, sidewalks have been widened to 2 meters. The improvements also include the creation of 17 tree pits for planting, the installation of an irrigation system, and the complete renewal of public lighting, electricity supply, and water supply networks.
Additionally, sanitation work has been carried out on El Drago street, near the children's playground. In parallel, the dirt ground of El Pino street has been paved, as part of the ERRP Mogán casco, Veneguera, Barranquillo Andrés y Soria program, which includes the phased rehabilitation of homes in these areas. The mayor, Onalia Bueno, highlighted that these interventions are "very necessary" to improve the appearance and functionality of the town.
Following the Fiestas Patronales de San Antonio ‘El Chico’, the construction of a new roundabout is planned at the site of the former Cruz Roja building. This project, to be executed by the Government of Canarias, aims to optimize the connection between the Avenida de la Constitución and the GC-200 road, thereby improving traffic flow and access to the town center.
