David Cruz and Claudia Mola win the Tinajo YouTrail

The tenth edition of the Tinajo YouTrail has concluded with the victory of David Cruz in the men's main race and Claudia Mola in the women's, consolidating the event as a sporting benchmark in the Canary Islands.

The Plaza de Los Dolores was the epicenter of trail running this weekend, hosting nearly six hundred participants from various parts of Spain and internationally.
In the main 33.5 km category, David Cruz (Carphial Teror Trail) took first place with a time of 2:44:40. He was followed by David Recco (CD Hilera) at 3:02:00 and Rubén Rodríguez (CM El Jable) in third place with 3:05:50, repeating his podium finish from the previous year.
In the women's category for the same distance, Claudia Mola (Runningproject) won with 3:42:30, followed by Montserrat García (CD Trotadunas) at 3:47:18 and Donella Melis (CD Tridan) in third place at 4:17:19.
The 14 km race saw Tanausú Cabrera (CM El Jable) as the winner with 57:13, improving on his second place from last year. In the women's category, Anya Lamprecht (CD Latitud 29) retained her title with 1:08:40.
In the shorter 8 km distance, Akorán Rodríguez (Olympus 21 Tenerife) repeated his victory with 34:33, while in the women's category, Laura Mulcahy (Latitude) won with 45:07.
Friday's activities included hiking and a race for children, the Tinajo Youtrail Chinijos, who enjoyed the landscapes and a festive atmosphere.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, congratulated the Councilor for Sports, Vianney Rodríguez, on the event's success, highlighting the great atmosphere and the collaboration of technicians, volunteers, security forces, and emergency services.
