The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, has extended a special invitation to the workers of the Lanzarote Health Area to serve as heralds for the upcoming Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores 2026 Festivities. Dr. María Teresa Godoy Suárez, director of the Tinajo Health Center, will have the honor of delivering the proclamation on behalf of all the island's healthcare staff.
The council highlighted the "enormous work" and the "dedication and commitment" of the healthcare personnel, emphasizing that their labor is fundamental and highly valued by the people of Tinajo. This appointment will be recorded in local history as a recognition of those who care for citizens' health, especially during difficult times.
