The Tinajo City Council has launched the eleventh edition of the Tinajo Bocata Tour, which will take place from October 29 to November 15, aiming to boost the local restaurant scene and promote gastronomy.

The initiative, organized by the Commerce Department, invites residents and visitors to explore the municipality through a gastronomic offering that combines gourmet burgers and sandwiches made with local ingredients such as cheese, onion, tomato, goat meat, black pork, and sweet potato.
Ten establishments are participating in this edition: Restaurante Cafetería Pizzería El Guanche, El Rinconcito, Cervecería Malpeís, El Callao Burger, Bike Stop Café, Restaurante La Santa, Bar El Barquillo, El Chinchorro, CSC Mancha Blanca, and Cafetería Caldera Blanca. They will offer their creations at prices ranging from 7.30 to 16.50 euros, including a drink.
Customers who collect at least three different establishment stamps on their booklet can enter a raffle for three prizes of one hundred euros each. Those who complete the booklet with all stamps can vote for their favorite gourmet burger or sandwich, with the winning establishment receiving a two-hundred-euro voucher. The prize draw and vote count will be held on November 19, 2026, at 9:00 AM, at the Casa de la Cultura.
The mayor of Tinajo, Jesús Machín, and the Councilor for Commerce, Vianney Rodríguez, highlighted the initiative's success in promoting local businesses and encouraging proximity consumption.
The Tinajo Bocata Tour coincides with other municipal activities such as Los Finaos and Tinajoween, offering more reasons to visit the municipality.
